"I went to China to see Zhou Hong with some minor but persistent health problems. My digestive system was not functioning as well as it had in the past, I had hives that would
flare up every few years and then persist daily for up to a year, and I had dizzy spells
that would occur briefly a couple of times a week. In addition, my vitality had been lower
for the last few years. After the initial cupping and qi treatments, all of my symptoms
were somewhat better, and my vitality was significantly improved. On returning to the US,
I began to take the herbs that were prescribed. Shortly thereafter, I began having an
episode of hives. These stayed with me for the duration of the period in which I took the
herbs, about two months. Near the end of the herbal therapy, the hives went away and have
not since returned. My other symptoms also improved, especially my digestive problems,
which seemed to be worsened during most of the course of the herbal therapy, but went
entirely away by the time all of the herbs were consumed. I have not experienced any dizzy spells since the initial qi session with Zhou Hong.
"I found the actual qi experience to be most interesting and definite. There was nothing subtle about the effect. Rather than sensing a slight discharge of static electricity or a minor sensation of skin stimulation, the qi experience was more like putting my finger into a 120 Volt socket with wet hands. At the same time, the charge was not the undirected flow of electricity one normally experiences with a shock, but rather a set of lines of electrical energy that seemed to be well directed up the meridians and
terminating in specific portions of the body.
"As an afterthought, I was in China with a group of about eight people, and I believe all of them were significantly helped by the healing they received."
